Eprints are becoming a popular choice for clinical reprints. The principle is the same as a paper reprint, however the article is in an electronic format.
An electronic reprint may be more appropriate in some cases as the turnaround is considerably quicker.
A license is purchased for a set amount of downloads from an encrypted PDF supplied by the publisher, or downloaded from a website. PDFs/URLs can be posted on a company intranet site or emailed. There are variations on this basic principle
